The Central Media Group, a Hungarian publisher, with their project Kremmania, was looking to create a revamp their platform for beauty and lifestyle enthusiasts. This client aimed to bridge various aspects of the beauty industry—such as reviews, affiliate marketing, social interaction, and shopping—into a single, unified app experience.

The Kremmania needed their solution to provide a unique, all-in-one platform that addresses multiple facets of the beauty industry, creating a central hub for product discovery, reviews, social interaction, and e-commerce. By combining these elements, the platform can attract a diverse audience and drive engagement, allowing the client to build a strong community, monetize through affiliate marketing, and capitalize on the growing demand for personalized beauty solutions.

The Challenge

A challenge for the client and the development team was balancing user experience with content moderation and quality control. For the client, maintaining high standards for user-generated content—like reviews and product listings—proved difficult, especially in preventing fraudulent activity, fake reviews, and inappropriate content.

Integrating diverse features—such as product reviews, a marketplace, social elements, and affiliate marketing—into a single, user-friendly platform required meticulous planning and robust backend development to guarantee scalability, security, and performance across all devices.

The Cleevio Solution

Cleevio developed this app by creating a seamless experience combining community engagement with e-commerce. We implemented a user-friendly review and rating system for cosmetic products, encouraging users to share feedback and insights. The platform relies on user-generated content, allowing users to add new products, write reviews, and update ingredient information, keeping the content fresh and dynamic. We also redesigned a convenient marketplace for buying and selling beauty products, meeting the needs of users looking for an easy and trustworthy way to trade.

To boost monetization and appeal, we integrated an affiliate marketing model, directing users to third-party e-commerce sites, which increases revenue and visibility for both the platform and cosmetic brands. Social features were added to enhance community interaction - including beauty articles, tutorials, and videos provides valuable content, while management tools ensure smooth operation.
