They sought a more sustainable and user-friendly payment and charging process. The ultimate goal was to transition away from the existing fee structure, enhance the user experience, and establish itself as the largest network of EV charging stations in Europe.

The client's main challenge stemmed from their previous payment system, which became unsustainable in the long term. They initially adopted this approach for its speedy go-to-market (GTM) implementation, but they encountered limitations such as the absence of personalization and branding in their basic app. This dual challenge led to the need for a more efficient and user-friendly payment and charging process.
